His new car was parked for too long, unregistered, but for reasons beyond his control (thanks to CT DMV).
He spoke too quickly, “Wow, what a feeling, the power of the open road – that feeling of comfort, luxury, gliding through turns, sailing over hills, rounding curves, acceleration, the breeze in one’s hair,” she cut him off! “Did you drive the Cadillac?” Oops. He did his best to fumble out an answer. “Ah, no, why, don’t you remember? Today was my bike ride. The Tarmac is one heck of a bike!”
I was never more than an intermediate level rider, but I do like to ride hard – at least what seems hard to me. And, I like a good bike. Why shop trees with a dull ax? Perhaps the market is bigger for people like me than for true cyclists. In some ways this website, advertising my book, is intended for intermediate level readers – those who can appreciate a sharp ax, but are not themselves a reader of theology. You just want to enjoy a good book. Welcome!
