The key is persistence. You’ve just got to keep at it. You revise your draft, going through iterations, remediations, redactions, corrections, discards, starting from scratch; only to quit and swear you’ll never do it again until you repent, and start over. Somewhere in the distant passage of time it gets done. Then you need to find someone remotely interested enough to read it.
