She flicked her phone from her hip like she was pulling a gun from a holster, and one Montana cowboy thought he saw smoke. It was fast. The cowboys took a cautious step back. They couldn’t understand what she was doing, but it was practiced, and dangerous, maybe. Her laser app ran a bright red beam over the new horse. A cross section and a density chart put the big guy at 1,300 lbs. She shook her head. “That’s a lot of quarter horse!” Two twists and a twirl slapped her phone back into its leather. It was a while before either of those barn hands could speak, but one thing they knew – kids today can draw phones faster than guns.
